Mandalorian Cruiser

This previously Unknown class of star ship has been found to be attacking impearial assets., unknown because the last of them was thought to have been destroyed years pria to the battle of yavin.

completely outmatching that of a imperial star destroyer one on one.
these ships are seamlessly fast, agile, strong shields and can pack a punch in long and close range engagement.

the first ships to be produced first saw service in the clone wars with only three on the production line after completion and combat showed that they were formidable  the number then surged up to a hundred and sixty seven. These ships quickly became prominent in the mandalorian fleet up until the rise of the Empire and the loss of the mandalorian core worlds due to faction wide civil war between rival clans. with most of the fleet scattering or standing down apun the empire intervening. however approximately sixty ships fled into hiding.

With a fighter compliment vastly Superior to that of imperial and rebel ship designs. the only down side to these monstrosity is that the Mandalorians now lack the shipyards to maintain them. often leading the individual ships to acting as mercenary's with payment of servicing these mighty warships.

It is an estimate that there is at least twenty two more vessels of these class still around.
